Shizuku Sunagawa
Shizuku Sunagawa will be entering the project as a PhD candidate in Political Sciences at Université Laval. Prior to joining the project, she worked at the Department of Science, Technology and Society at Technical University of Munich (TUM). Her research interests include knowledge production processes in academia, with a focus on environment-related fields. She also holds a strong interest in mixed-methods study which brings together qualitative approaches with quantitative ones.
Shizuku completed her M.A. in Science and Technology Studies (STS) at TUM, while working as a research assistant for the DFG-funded project “Science as a field of struggle: A multi-method study of inequality and its epistemic effects in forest research.” She holds a dual bachelors, one in Economy & Society from The Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and the other in Sustainable Development from Columbia University.
