Hang Zhou
Hang Zhou is Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, Université Laval (Québec, Canada), an affiliated faculty member of its Graduate School of International Studies, and Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal of African Studies. His research focuses on South–South relations, especially Africa–China relations, as well as the politics of development, infrastructure, maritime anthropology, bureaucracy, and everyday state practices. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the TransOceanic Fishers project at the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen, Norway. His work has appeared in journals including African Affairs, International Journal of Heritage Studies, Marine Policy, and African Study Monographs.
